However, ensure they are professionally measured and fitted. Choose wearable fabrics. Easily wrinkled and itchy fabrics should be avoided.

After the wedding is offer, pictures are the only thing that truly remains forever to commemorate your day. Choosing a dress that is too trendy can result in photos you will regret and leave you asking what you were thinking. Imagine how you will feel looking back at your wedding photos decades later. If you know it is a dress you will never regret and will be proud of forever, it is probably the dress for you.

With different manufacturers having different lead times, you will also want to leave enough time for alterations if required. Allow at least 3 weeks prior to the wedding. Leave enough time for a second and possibly third fitting in case the dress still does not fit quite right. Many bridesmaids wait until less minute before the wedding to pick up their dress only to find out it doesn't fit well and there’s not enough time to have it altered or sent back.
