| In the savage world of dating, the skill with which some people play the game is almost comparable to the way jungle predators hunt prey - with a ruthlessness and precision that is staggering. They know what they want and they can get it with only an economy of effort. Dating expectations put pressure on both genders but the burden is felt doubly by the guy as society and, indeed general etiquette, dictates that he take the lead in that one chance to create a favorable impression. A certain level of skill and confidence is required to flirt with women. Attempting to attract younger women, however, is commonly found by most guys to be intimidating. Here are some dating tips for men: Ditch the mentality that the younger woman you really like is out of your league. You can thank society’s double standard for that. Though some people would call it chauvinistic, most women want an older guy as their significant other. When a guy is a few years (okay, sometimes more than a just a few years) older, it gives the impression that somehow he is more emotionally mature to handle a relationship. And while age is never a guarantee of maturity (emotional or in any other aspect for that matter), it certainly still does add to the factor of attraction. Dating a younger woman is not all that difficult as it seems. Younger women have a naiveté that, while endearing, makes them gullible. While some are very quick to exploit this quality, it is never advisable. Payback is a female dog and when a woman is out for revenge, she can cause some serious damage! You can make your age gap work for you by exuding confidence and being relaxed and laid back. Most younger women (indeed, most women) like somebody they can look up to and who can carry on intelligent conversation in a way they perceive younger men or men their age can’t plus a dash of old world chivalry is always appreciated. When dating a younger woman, learn to tell the difference between being a gentleman and being a doormat. A gentleman is a man who is chivalrous, gracious, and polite. He is essentially just a nice guy who is quite comfortable with masculine social conventions such as opening doors for a lady, offering to pay for dinner and being cool with it when his date insists on going Dutch, etc. A doormat on the other hand is just basically somebody a woman can walk all over on. Bending over backwards too much to get a women to like you would either just land you in the dreaded “friend zone” or attract a woman who has no qualms about using you. Self respect is the key here. There are many ways to attract younger women but the most basic is to maintain an aura of mystery. Like moths to a flame, women are drawn to enigmatic men. So go ahead, look at her from across the room, smile, wink, leave and think nothing of it. In this game, you win some and lose some but it sure can be fun!
