Many actresses begin their careers as models. Thereafter, take part in developing various issues in magazines which later attract participations in movies or film productions. These models become co-stars with the moments’ hottest stars. These actresses have proven to have extreme acting abilities, taking a central role and defining themselves. Others have developed as singers and actresses.

Examples of such actresses is Katrina Kaif who started as a model for jewel campaign, at the age of 14. She got her way into Bollywood movies. The first movie she participated in was called Boom which was the hottest one ever did in her bikini and during a second South Indian movie called dubut, where she got noticed and put on the top list of highly paid actresses of the time. Not done with South Indian movies, she had been signed in a Tamil movie 'Bheema' opposite National Award Winner Vikram. Katrina Kaif is quite popular among guys searching for the hot sexy photos of Indian babes on the web and her other photo shoots in magazines. Katrina Kaif is no doubt one of the most popular heroines in Bollywood today.

Jennifer Kotwal, the famous Kannada actress, who, though from Mumbai also has a successful stint as a hot model have turned towards Bollywood  in a leading role opposite Himesh Reshammiya in film titled as Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekkh Mudh Mudh Ke.

Another example of such hot actresses participated in kannada movies was Jayanthi, an Indian actress she has appeared in over 500 films, including films in the Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindiand Marathi languages. In Kannada movies, she was honored with the title Abhinaya Sharade. Her rise to fame , Jeenu Goodu was Jayanthi's first Kannada film. She was married to Film Director Peketi Sivaram. He backed her all the way and very soon she became a famous actress in Kannada. She is credited for introducing most of the modern day outfits onto the Kannada screen for the first time. She also wore a bikini for the film, which the producers' first choice for the role had refused to do.

Shruti, a South Indian actress, acted in about 120 Kannada language movies and several movies in other South Indian languages such as Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Born in a Kannada speaking family in Karnataka, Shruti's birth name is Priyadarshani. The name Shruti was given to her by the director Dwarakish during her first movie, as a heroine, Shruti.er.  Shruti started her cinema career as a side actress and acted in Kannada movie Aasegobba Meesegobba as the hero Shivarajkumar's sister. Later in the year 1990, she acted as heroine in the movie Shruti directed and produced by Dwarakish. This movie was a successful one running over 25 weeks.

Sampath Kumar, started singing in movies occasionally and, lately, he started singing devotional songs for albums. He then played a lead role for the first time in Vishnuvardhan film. He had acted in various language films namely Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The majority of films is done in Kannada language. He was a dedicated actor and a Singer.  

Preparing for photo shoots

They prepare in advance. Their hair styles mainly is either striaght, Wavy or Curly Indian hair. Actresses especially in photo shoots change their hair syles and always look so natural.

Dressing is done that fit their style and this is made easy with the help of fashion advisors and is based on size specifications and preference.

In summary, their rise to fame is similar in very few cases you will find different. A case like Shruti and Jayanthi and others not well illustrated.
