The CFLs are the other types of bulbs that are commonly used. Although they have similarities with the LED one, CFL bulbs are somewhat different in that they have mercury, meaning that people have to be careful about how they dispose them. But they also have their benefits that make people love them and use them despite the fact that they are not environmentally friendly. These bulbs have longer life spans as opposed to incandescent lights and they are also known to save a lot of energy, and these lead to people saving money from lighting bills. Examples of these bulbs include the PAR30 CFL, 105W CFL, 85w CFL and the 55W CFL.

There are also other lights that are used for large scale purposes, and for those people who need such like bulbs, then they can make use of the 250w metal halide. Using these other lamps would not be as efficient as these halide ones. But for them to be used and operated safely there is need for them to have special fixtures.
