| Important documents like birth certificate, Marriage certificates and other non-education certificates all need to be present with the person at all times. These are some of the most required documents which are necessary from time to time and hence need to be duly maintained. Getting these issued on time is one part of the job. These are at times issued by the local bodies on application. The questions to be considered here are • “Are these certificates valid and recognized outside the region where they were issued?” • “Who is the authority to legally certify the authenticity of these certificates?” • “Are there any universal norms which govern the process of their validation and verification?” What is an Apostille Certificate? There could be situations in which a person is required to travel to another destination leaving his or her country of origin. The documents which support your very basic Passport and Visa are the non-education ones like Birth Certificate, marriage certificates, any kind of Medical Certificates and a lot of others. These need to be carried and produced when required to validate the data on the basic documents. This is where a need for getting an Apostille certificate issued comes into picture. The process to get this done varies from country to country, although the basic norms which govern this remain the same. All the relevant documents need to be attested by the consulate of that country before the person travels out. The document is attested at two levels one by the External affairs Ministry and the other by the Consulate of that country. Most of the countries have their Apostille Services which can be approached. Care has to be taken to keep enough time to get this done as it would take a minimum of at least 10 working days before the attested copies of the certificates arrive. Keeping this process pending for the last minute could actually not be very beneficial. Does the person go to collect the Apostille Certificate or does it reach home? Reliable courier services would be able to collect the documents from the person which needs attestation. They are able to provide a receipt of the concerned Courier company. At the same time they also guarantee to deliver back the Apostille Certificates within the estimated time frame. In most of the countries the person is not required to go to the office in person to collect the attested documents. These courier services are approved by the Authority issuing the certificates and thus can be trusted. In case an attestation is urgently needed, like in case of an unforeseen travel outside the country there are also emergency services which would do the needful. Most of these services can be accessed on the Internet as they provide Contact Numbers or Emergency Toll free Contact numbers.
