| Workforce management roles differ in organizations. These roles may include; payroll, HR management and organization, assisting the employees in case of an emergency, performance check and talent management. Of all the roles of workforce management, employee management is of the most importance. It is due to this that the success of any organization is possible. Time management is an essential tool in workforce management. The main task for managers in most organizations is employee management. It is through this that a manager gets information and knows how to find, interview and hire the right professionals in different positions. Workforce management then creates a good atmosphere for the new employees that ensure through employee management that they enjoy and do their job satisfactorily and achieve the set targets. Performance management involves job training, cross training and challenging employees with assignments that are not in their area of expertise. Performance management involves workforce management doing an overall assessment of performance standards on the employees involved. In employee management communication allows for movement of information from one department to the other. By getting the right information, an employee is updated on anything new in the company by workforce management. This serves as a time management tool.
